I deleted my dating app, finished things with a guy, called close friends to share I wouldn't be visiting and even told my family I needed space... all of these were hard to do. β β But my nervous system and focus were taking a beating, and I asked myself: β βWhat do I really want?
Social and societal pressures are real.β β 2024 has been an incredibly eye opening year... for me financially it's been super difficult, and physically it's been the same. I know half the world has an aversion to goal setting at new year. But I'm so done with struggle that I'm prioritising me in a new way and setting new goals.
Simplicity being #1. Consistency being #2.
I wanted this newsletter to be a teaching tool for you to use The Business Chakra System in 2025.

β Great question Michelle! β ... a little story for you. I've been asked about Bali since I landed 10 years ago in 2014. I was well known for being a point of contact because of social media, and quickly realised that it wasn't only friends, or friends or friends, but also strangers who would send me questions when it came to travel and accommodation. β I was the 'Go-to' person for Bali.
Back then I had absolutely zero interest in answering them, because I had my own goals. I also noticed it was never just one question and so much valuable time was taken by answering them. Initially it was fine, but then I felt frustration and resentment around being pulled in different directions.
At the same time, I also didn't want to ignore the questions and connections either.
So I created a copy and paste answer. It went like this:

What I feel is most important, is focusing on what you want to create and not always being lead by what others ask you. However, of course things may and can change! 10 years later I feel like there has been a divine timing involved with creating the Bali Retreat Broker. The island and the industry were very different back in 2014, and so was I.
My advice - to really be successful at anything, it needs your full attention.
Scattered energy, creates scattered results and you have the power to choose what you focus on.
